Swiss made.
High-end audio electronics from Goldmund, starting with the Telos 9800 mono power amplifier.

The Telos 9800 is the successor to the Telos 8800 and Goldmund’s most advanced amplifier to date. For the first time, the power supply and the amplifier are built in separate enclosures, so each works under its own ideal conditions.
The amplifier unit is built to keep the signal intact, while its dedicated power supply, made only for the Telos 9800, provides the current and energy reserves that the most demanding passages call for.
A redesigned output stage pairs the latest MOSFET devices with larger transformers, more stored energy and a new soft-start circuit, for steadier power, quicker transients and firmer control of the loudspeakers. It delivers 1,560 W RMS into 8 ohms.
The new chassis, designed with Cécile Barani, is made of micro-blasted aluminum with gold-plated copper terminals, in grey or black. Its 15 mm panels and 40 mm radiator chassis work as one passive heat sink, and the aluminum body shields the circuits from electromagnetic interference.

What is the Goldmund Telos 9800?
A mono power amplifier rated at 1,560 W RMS into 8 ohms, used one per channel. Goldmund describes it as its most advanced amplifier to date.
How is the Telos 9800 different from the Telos 8800?
The power supply and the amplifier now sit in separate enclosures, and the output stage was redesigned with the latest MOSFET devices, larger transformers, more stored energy and a new soft-start circuit, in a new chassis designed with Cécile Barani.
Which finishes are available?
Grey and black micro-blasted aluminum. Goldmund asks buyers to confirm finish availability and lead time with a dealer.
