Altaira-X is Shunyata Research’s reference ground hub and the successor to the Product of the Year award-winning Altaira ground system, with a large step up in noise reduction and isolation between components.
Each of its eight terminals is filtered on its own, so chassis-grounded and signal-grounded components can share one hub with no special setup, while noise is kept from passing between them. TAPc, the NIC noise isolation chamber, extra high-frequency filtering and platinum-plated solid copper contacts work together to lower ground-plane noise across the system.
Components connect to it with Shunyata’s “X” ground cables, such as the Omega-X.
