The DV2i is EMM Labs’ integrated converter: a 16x DSD (DSD1024) digital-to-analog converter, like the flagship DA2i, with a built-in network streamer. Its proprietary discrete dual differential DACs feed a newly designed Class A analog output stage.
The MDAT2 signal processing works in real time with the 16x DSD DACs, while MFAST frequency acquisition and the MCLK3 asynchronous clock keep jitter extremely low. The VControl volume system attenuates without re-quantizing, so the DV2i can drive a power amplifier directly.
The streamer, on its own isolated power supply, plays from Roon, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz, Deezer and V-Tuner, with DSD, 2x DSD, DXD and MQA. The USB and network inputs are galvanically isolated, and an EMM Optilink input connects the TXi transport. Designed and built in Canada.
