Pushing the boundaries of science in sound reproduction has and always will be CH Precision’s only way to design products capable of bringing a genuine musical emotion. It is with this ambition in mind that we have developed the Reference series of cables, in close partnership with the widely acclaimed cable manufacturer, Argento Audio.

This line of cables comprises the Reference Balanced Link and the Reference Speaker Link. Both types of connector contacts are made in the material with the best conductivity on planet Earth, the noble silver element. Speaker wire strands are also made of solid silver, no compromise has been made anywhere.

The fine tuned combination of conductive strands interlaced with damping cotton fibers, unique cable twisting and a no shield design provides the Reference Balanced Link with the extremely low capacitance necessary for outstandingly high bandwidth interconnection.

Besides, with pure silver pins, Teflon for non-conductive parts, all of which cast inside a non-magnetic metallic body, the Reference Balanced Link cable allows the finest details of the audio material to be truthfully and accurately conveyed.

The CH Precision Reference Balanced Link cable is designed to interconnect analog audio units, using balanced signaling through custom-made XLR connectors and is available in lengths from 0.5 meter, in 0.5 meter steps.

Reference Speaker Link

Thanks to a close partnership with the widely acclaimed cable manufacturer Argento Audio, electrical aspects (cable twisting, as well as number, shape and size of silver conductors) and mechanical aspects (interlaced cotton fibers in between the silver strands for damping purposes) have been thoroughly studied to provide the best possible coupling between amplifiers and loudspeakers.

The astonishing low capacitance efficiently prevents any energy from being stored in the cable and injected back in the system. The leads to unprecedented clarity, not only heard in the bandwidth extension in the treble, but also in the solid bass foundation this cable provides.

The Reference Speaker Link is available in lengths from 1 meter, in 0.5 meter steps.

Balanced Link

CH Precision’s Balanced Link cable is designed to interconnect analog audio units using balanced signaling through custom-made XLR connectors.

To provide its equipment with the best interconnection, CH Precision has closely collaborated with the widely acclaimed cable manufacturer Argento Audio. The fine tuned combination of copper strands interlaced with vibration reducing cotton fibers, unique cable twisting and a no shield design provides the Balanced Link with the extremely low capacitance necessary for genuinely high bandwidth interconnection.

Besides, with silver-plated pins over annealed copper, Teflon for non-conductive parts, all of which cast inside a non-magnetic metallic body, the Balanced Link cable allows the finest details of the audio material to be truthfully and accurately conveyed.

Speaker Link

The fundamental concept behind CH Precision’s Speaker Link cable, a state-of-the-art loudspeaker cable, is to reduce the cable’s susceptibility to mechanical vibration as well as to optimizing the signal transmission through careful choice of cable and connector material and a unique construction design.

Once again, CH Precision has closely collaborated with the widely acclaimed cable manufacturer Argento Audio.

Similarly to the Balanced Link, interlaced cotton fibers in between the copper strands, unique cable twisting, the number of strands and their diameter provide the Speaker Link with the extremely low capacitance necessary for unconditional transmission quality. The fork-shaped connectors are made of silver-plated annealed copper.

The Speaker Link technology is also used as internal wiring inside the 1 Series amplifiers, creating the continuity from the power transistors output pins all the way to the loudspeaker.

The Speaker Link cable is available in lengths from 1 meter, in 0.5 meter steps.

CH Link

The CH Link digital cable, allowing the transfer of PCM audio material up to 768kHz/32bits as well as native DSD streams up to 5.6448MHz/1bit, is the ideal interconnection between the D1 SACD, CD Transport/Player and the C1 Digital to Analog Controller (DAC).

Using high-grade copper, low capacitance wires and 5Gbps Molex connectors, the military-grade tested CH Link cable provides CH Precision pieces of digital equipment with the ultimate digital interconnection.

Beyond its electrical and mechanical high specifications allowing the rigorous transmission of ultra low jitter clocks and high speed data without compromise, it is the way audio data is handled that sets this cable apart. The transfer of audio data and clocks is taking place on dedicated twisted pairs as opposed to data and clocks being embedded in a single stream (ie biphase encoding method found in the S/PDIF standard). It removes several signal processing steps, dramatically improving jitter at the receiving end as well as reducing the risk of errors being introduced. Furthermore, the signals are transmitted in LVDS format. Allowing greater transmission lengths, the LVDS standard also decreases susceptibility to EMI noise while keeping EMI radiations low.

The CH Link is available in 1 meter length as standard.
